Eighth Grade Graduation Mass – Video (condensed)

Our K, 1, & 2 after school STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) Club met today! Apples were the subject for the day. They learned about the history of apples and the story of Johnny Appleseed, a folk hero based on frontier nurseryman John Chapman, who established orchards throughout the American Midwest. They did an experiment to see if an apple will sink or float. The students then engineered a tower using apples. Do you know which kind of apple is the most popular today? Ask one of our STEAM Club members. They are apple experts!
(STEAM Club is a free after school club offered once a month to students in K, 1, & 2 under the leadership of Mrs. Beth Lechleitner, our 2nd grade teacher, with the help of other teacher volunteers.) Watch for information about our K, 1 & 2 after school Math Club!

Our eighth graders walked to the Wilson campus today! They posed for their yearbook photos. How did they get so old?
