Second grade is sending a team of six students to the First LEGO League Jr. Expo at the Capital Area IU in January. All of the students are going to be involved in designing, building, and programming with the theme of “Boomtown Build”. They also want to have their own classroom expo for the parents, too. Today they started on their journey by talking about buildings in our community and why they are important to the community. The students drew a design of a building and did a small LEGO model of it.
